Vault Rush fixed board and offer math
- Choose one of twelve vaults before the hidden multiplier board is shuffled. The wager commits, then the entire board and the three elimination waves resolve before motion starts.
- Waves open 4, 4, and 3 unprotected vaults. Exact conditional-value offers appear only after waves one and two; accepting or continuing has the same conditional expected return.
- The fixed board totals 11.40× across twelve equally likely starting vaults, so every decision strategy has a 95% theoretical return. The 5% edge is already in the board and is never deducted again from an offer.
- Leaving before making an offer decision is treated as continuing to the protected vault, so its pre-resolved return cannot be stranded by navigation or reload.
- Published wager sizes make both offer averages exact to a whole cent. No rounding, autoplay, scripted near miss, bonus purchase, deposit, prize, or cash-out exists.

Twelve vaults in three waves, two of them empty
Vault Rush opens twelve vaults across three waves of four, four, and three. Two of the twelve return nothing at all and one returns 5.4 times your stake, with everything in between graded in fixed steps — so the distribution is short at the bottom and very long at the top.

The shape of the vault distribution
Twelve outcomes, fixed in advance
The round contains twelve vaults presented in three waves — four, then four, then three. Each vault holds one of twelve fixed multipliers, and the set of twelve is always the same; only which vault holds which value changes.
That is an important structural detail. Because the multiplier set is fixed, the distribution of possible outcomes is completely known before you start. This is not a game where the machine decides what you get after you choose — the twelve values exist and you are selecting among them.
Two of the twelve return nothing. The remaining ten range from a tenth of your stake up to 5.4 times it, in graded steps.
Selection is arbitrary, but the shape is knowable
Which vault you open is arbitrary — values are assigned randomly, so no position carries an advantage. What is worth understanding is the distribution, because it is unusually lopsided and the game does not present it as such.
Ten of twelve outcomes are below 1.6 times your stake, and eight of twelve are at or below your stake. The single 5.4 outcome carries a large share of the game’s total return by itself, which means the typical round returns noticeably less than the headline suggests and the occasional round returns much more.
That is the same concentration seen in keno and bingo here, but in a much smaller and more legible form. Twelve outcomes is few enough to hold in your head, which makes this a good place to see how a top-heavy paytable actually feels over a session.
All twelve vault values
The full set is fixed and always present in every round. Reading it as a whole is the fastest way to understand what the game returns: the median outcome is well under your stake, and one outcome carries most of the upside.
Grouping them this way makes the shape obvious in a way that opening vaults one at a time never will. Seven of the twelve return half your stake or less, and the single top vault is worth more than the next four combined. A session is mostly the top half of this table happening repeatedly, with the bottom row arriving rarely enough to feel like a different game when it does.

Common mistakes
The wave structure suggests progression that does not exist.
- Believing later waves are better. Values are distributed randomly across all twelve vaults; the third wave is not a bonus round.
- Choosing vaults by position or pattern. No vault is more likely to hold the top value than any other.
- Reading the top multiplier as typical. Eight of twelve outcomes are at or below your stake — 5.4 is one vault out of twelve.
- Expecting a run of poor vaults to be corrected. Each round redistributes the same fixed set independently of the last.
What is different about this version
The multipliers are stored as integer hundredths and converted once, rather than being held as floating-point values. That means a 1.25 multiplier is exactly 1.25 and payouts resolve to precise whole cents instead of accumulating rounding drift across a session.
The theoretical return is expressed in basis points as an exact integer and derived from that, which is the same discipline applied to the multipliers themselves. Both the full multiplier set and the wave structure are published constants, so the distribution described above is verifiable rather than inferred from play.
Common questions about Vault Rush
Are the later waves more valuable?
No. The twelve multipliers are distributed randomly across all the vaults, so the third wave is no more likely to hold the top value than the first. The wave structure is pacing, not progression.
How many vaults are empty?
Two of the twelve return nothing at all. A further five return less than your stake, so eight of the twelve outcomes leave you at or below where you started.
What is the best possible result?
5.4 times your stake, from a single vault out of twelve. That one outcome carries a large share of the game’s total return, which is why ordinary rounds feel modest.
Does it matter which vault I pick?
No. Values are assigned randomly and no position is favoured. The selection is presentation — what determines your result is the fixed set of twelve values and which one you happen to land on.
