Published reel and line model
Each of five independent reels has 30 equally likely stops: 1 Wild, 1 jackpot coin, 2 Buffalo, 3 Eagles, 5 Sunsets, 7 Horseshoes, and 11 Aces. Four consecutive symbols are shown from each resolved stop.
The first 1, 5, 10, 15, or all 20 fixed lines can be active. Wild substitutes for line symbols; jackpot coins do not substitute. When several Wild interpretations exist on one line, only the highest payout is returned.
Coin tiers are fixed: Mini 3× at three coins, Major 30× at four, and Grand 500× at five. They are not progressive meters and never have cash value.

Lines, denomination, and the wild
Two stake controls, not one
Your total stake is the number of active lines multiplied by the denomination. You can play one, five, ten, fifteen, or twenty lines, at any of five denominations, which gives a wide range of stake sizes from the same machine.
Line payouts are per line, so a winning combination pays according to your denomination rather than your total stake. Playing fewer lines at a higher denomination therefore pays more per hit but has fewer chances to hit at all.
The wild symbol substitutes for other line symbols to complete combinations, and it also pays on its own — at 800 for five, the highest single payout on the machine. The coin symbol works differently, resolving outside the payline structure rather than needing to land in a line.
Line count changes variance, not value
The genuine question this machine poses is how to split your stake between lines and denomination. The answer for expected return is that it does not matter — total stake is total stake, and the theoretical return applies to all of it regardless of how you divide it.
What it changes is the shape of your results. Twenty lines at a low denomination produces frequent small wins and a slowly draining balance. One line at a high denomination produces long stretches of nothing punctuated by larger hits. Same expected return, very different experience.
One thing genuinely worth knowing: because the wild substitutes into other combinations, a spin containing wilds can pay on lines that do not obviously show a matching set. Reading the machine as if only literal matches count will make some wins look inexplicable when they are simply the wild doing its job.
The line paytable
Payouts below are per line at your chosen denomination. The wild tops the table at 800 for five because it is both the rarest symbol and the one that completes other combinations, so it carries two kinds of value at once.
That dual role makes the wild worth more than its row suggests. Every wild that lands is either paying on its own line or quietly rescuing another one, which means its real contribution to the machine’s return is larger than the 800 figure alone implies. It is also why the gap between the wild and the buffalo is wider than the gap between any other two adjacent rows on the table.

Common mistakes
The two-control stake structure is where most of the confusion on this machine comes from.
- Thinking more lines improves your odds. More lines means more chances to hit and a proportionally larger stake — the expected return is unchanged.
- Comparing wins across different line counts. A payout is per line at your denomination, so the same combination pays differently depending on how you set the machine.
- Missing wild substitutions. A win with no obvious matching set is usually the wild completing a combination, not an error.
- Playing one line to make the stake last. It does stretch a balance, but it also means most spins cannot pay at all because nineteen lines are inactive.
What is different about this version
The theoretical return is calculated at module load from the machine’s own reel strips and paytable rather than stored as a claimed figure. That calculation accounts for the wild’s substitution behaviour, which is the part that makes slot return figures difficult to derive by hand and the reason most machines simply assert theirs.
The coin symbol is handled as a separate type outside the line paytable, so it does not distort the line calculations. Reel strips are fixed and published in the source, meaning the whole machine — frequencies, substitutions, and payouts — can be inspected rather than taken on trust.

Should I play all twenty lines?
It does not change your expected return. Twenty lines at a low denomination gives frequent small wins; fewer lines at a higher denomination gives rarer, larger ones. Pick the pattern of results you prefer.
What does the wild do?
It substitutes for other line symbols to complete combinations, and it pays on its own as the machine’s highest line symbol at 800 for five. That dual role is why a win can appear without an obvious matching set.
